Terms of Service Custom/Bespoke pieces
What is this section for?
When I am entrusted with an idea for a design, I take that responsibility very seriously. For this reason, I believe establishing clear terms of service to be tantamount to a fantastic experience.
Who owns the IP for the piece?
Given that the idea comes from you, all intellectual property for bespoke pieces will be yours. In the case that you as the client would have no issue having me replicate it, I would require a written authorisation to do so. In the case that the input from the client is a rough idea and the sole development of the piece comes from me, I will retain intellectual property rights over it.
Can we send personal materials or fragments?
Absolutely! If there is any metal or stone you wish to refurbish or update, I will more than glad to work with it. Given the state of old metals, sometimes they are mixed with some newer metal, but the piece will carry all its history.
What is your cancellation and return policy?
Given that all custom pieces are one-of-a-kind articles, they will not be subject to cancellation or return policies.
How long does it take?
The estimated time of delivery for custom orders is 3-5 weeks to ship. This will obviously be talked through in the bespoke experience email exchanges. These estimated times are subject to variability depending on the complexity of the pieces.
How does the payment work?
Given that there is extensive design and logistics work, as well as ordering pieces as soon as possible, all custom pieces will come with 50% of the payment in advance. After the price calculations are finalised, an invoice will be sent for half of the project and the rest of the payment will occur when the piece is ready to ship.
